These systems utilize the Thermosiphon Principle, where naturally heated water rises into the insulated storage tank while cooler water flows back into the collector for reheating — eliminating the need for pumps or electronic controls in standard installations.

Premium Solar Heating for Cold Climate Regions
SAICAB Split Type Solar Water Heater is an advanced closed-loop pressurized solar water heating system specially developed for areas where winter temperatures fall below 0°C. Unlike conventional rooftop systems, the storage tank is installed indoors while the Flat Plate Collectors remain mounted on the roof.
This arrangement protects the system from freezing conditions, improves aesthetics, and enhances operational efficiency. An intelligent differential controller continuously monitors the collector and tank temperatures and automatically operates the circulation pump for maximum efficiency — ensuring uninterrupted hot water even in snow-prone, high-altitude regions.
How It Works
Solar Absorption
Solar radiation is absorbed by the Flat Plate Collectors.
Temperature Monitoring
Collector temperature (T1) and storage tank temperature (T2) are continuously monitored.
Pump Activation
When the collector is hotter than the tank, the Differential Controller starts the circulation pump.
Heat Transfer
Heat transfer fluid flows through the collector and transfers heat via the copper heat exchanger.
Indirect Heating
Domestic water inside the tank is heated indirectly, without mixing with the heat transfer fluid.
Auto Shut-Off
When the desired temperature is reached, the controller automatically stops the pump.
